A video has surfaced showing how the iPhone 8 will look and two ways users will activate the device without a home button.

Apple is expected to pack some incredible new features on the upcoming device as it marks the 10th anniversary of its first iPhone. One of the expected features is the removal of the home button to give way for an edge-to-edge screen. This has left Apple fans wondering how they will activate the iPhone 8.

The Daily Mail reported that a new leaked video purported to be of Apple's upcoming flagship smartphone shows just how iPhone users would operate the device without the physical button.

According to the video, one can open the device by firmly pressing on the left side of the screen.

The other option is a digital button at the bottom of the display which is designed to always be visible.

The video was released by Domenico Panacea with macity.net.

There are other rumors circulating online about Apple's highly anticipated smartphone. According to The Sun, the iPhone 8 release date is unlikely to be in September 2017 as Apple is said to be facing technical problems related to its expected curved screen and 3D camera. There are, however, talks that the device could hit the market in October.

There are rumors that the iPhone 8 will be a lot cheaper. Global financial services firm UBS analyst Steven Milunovich claims that the new device's price could stay around the same price as the iPhone 7 at $850.

There are talks that Apple could call its next-generation handset the iPhone X, marking a huge break from its usual naming traditions.
