The latest updates for "Overwatch" will feaure future plans for Doomfist, new skins leaked and a Nintendo Switch version soon.

New developments for Doomfist inclusion in "Overwatch's" roster have been revealed as game director Jeff Kaplan as he stated that he enjoys the community's response on bringing the character to life within the game's lore.

However, he recalled what happened to Sombra's reveal, which was poorly planned and executed, and what they have learned from that mistake. Nonetheless, Kaplan hopes that the community will not burn themselves too early on the character since no signs of his arrival has been released yet, iTechPost reported.

It has been hinted in several news sources that Doomfist will likely be voiced by "White Chicks" star Terry Crews, going so far as making a mocked audition tape citing lines for each "Overwatch" character.

There have been three individuals who have taken the mantle of Doomfist as the first one became a hero, while the second version became a villain. Third Doomfist has been hinted to be another villain as he was responsible for the incident in Numbani airport, where all of OR15 units have been destroyed in Orisa's backstory.

In other news, it seems that new skins for "Overwatch have been leaked online as subreddit username AsranStark took a screenshot of the character skin in the Xbox Live, VG 24/7 reported.

As seen in the image, characters Mercy, Tracer, Torbjorn and Reinhardt are wearing the same armor shown in the latest comic for "Overwatch" called "Uprising."

Blizzard Entertainment will have a new event for "Overwatch" called the "Omnic Crisis" Event within this month and these skins will likely be added to the game very soon.

Lastly, Kaplan made some comments regarding "Overwatch" being ported to the Nintendo Switch console soon. Kaplan stated that it is unlikely possibility of the hero shooter coming to the console and Blizzard would need to "revisit performance" to have it run the way the developers would want it to on Nintendo's new console.

In addition, Kaplan added that it is already no small task to support "Overwatch" on three game platforms and adding a fourth is not something Blizzard could necessarily do right now. However, this does not mean that "Overwatch" on the Nintendo Switch console is ruled out.

Kaplan doubled down on his comments that "Overwatch" could still be headed to the Nintendo Switch sometime, probably in the game's future plans.

"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
