The latest specs and features of the NVIDIA Volta are designed to kill off competition. However, there are also speculations coming about that AMD Vega aims to counter the features with their own killer specs and features.

Although the rumors are skyrocketing, there are no indications that the speculation is true and reliable. Moreover, each tech gear focuses on their own devices to ensure that quality and durability are integrated on their device.

A former report shared of some noted specs of the NVIDIA Volta. According to the report, the NVIDIA Volta will shrink to 12nm, based on a post in a Beyond3D forum, while some are presuming that it would be a 12nm Volta.

The report added on note that the 10nm technology was certainly the process node that NVIDIA would have wished to use for its upcoming NVIDIA Volta because it's promising a 20 percent performance compared to the 16nm process and in any case, one would assume that future renditions of Volta products will be manufactured on 10nm technology or even 7nm technology.

On a different note, Tweak Town mentioned that AMD Vega is already gearing up for its new tech offering. AMD has its truly next-gen GPU architecture. The Radeon RX Vega graphics card has promised big technological exclusives and advantages over NVIDIA Volta.

Also, there's the new Vega GPU architecture, which is a big departure from the mid-range/mainstream GPU architecture of Polaris - and a difference to NVIDIA's current-gen Pascal GPU architecture, which is a super-refined version of Maxwell, reports the same post.

For the tech enthusiast, it remains uncertain as to how far these devices would fare in the marketplace. Also, it remains unsettled as to which devices the users would opt for in the latter days. The NVIDIA Volta is slated for release in 2018, but the AMD Vega is set to launch this year.
