'Dragon Age 4' Latest Update: Voice Actress Says Instagram Post Not Related to 'Dragon Age'

Tons of reports are circulating online that "Dragon Age 4" is currently in development for Xbox One and PS4. Now that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is already out, fans must have thought of the possibility that Bioware could be releasing the fourth main title in the series from its pipeline.

It shows that there's an ongoing frenzy on the reported development of "Dragon Age 4" on the internet recently. It spewed from an Instagram post of the voice actress who was involved in the previous "Dragon Age" game.

However, Alix Wilton Regan has clarified what now appears to be huge confusion that the fourth title in the works. In her most recent post via her official Twitter account, Regan tweeted that what she teased on Instagram was not related at all to "Dragon Age 4".

Apparently, her latest tweet has to put an end to the rumors, which she initiated with her  post. This has now killed off the hopes of many fans that the fourth title to the popular fantasy RPG series is on the cards after all.  

As everyone may have already known, it all began when Regan shared a snapshot of herself on social media that showed her being around a recording studio. She captioned her photo, "Back in the studio and breaking worlds apart... she's a very very very angry" along with a hashtage "elf".

Her followers on Instagram consequently took it as a clue that the actress will be reprising her role as an Elven Inquisitor in the new game. It didn't take long that her post was picked up and spread on the internet like wildfire.

Sadly enough, it turns out that "Dragon Age 4" remains unconfirmed at this point until Bioware makes an official announcement that the game is underway for release. Still, it's not a far-fetched idea that it could eventually arrive at some future time knowing how countless of fans are looking forward to the series' next full game.

"Dragon Age: Inquisition" was released back in 2014 and bagged some accolades such as Game of the Year at The Game Awards. It was developed using EA's revolutionary Frostbite engine for Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows.
