Disney's "Kingdom Hearts 3" game is anticipated to get a big announcement that will reveal its release date and more exciting details to fuel the excitement of fans for the next entry to the popular JRPG. The latest development could hint at where and when this will likely happen. 

Recently, people behind the D23 Expo sent out invitations to fans, young, and old from all parts of the globe to experience the magic at the next big Disney gathering. The prestigious event has traditionally offered a glimpse at the future epic movies, attractions coming to Disney's parks and resorts, and more.

The D23 Expo is set to kick off this summer, specifically on July 14 and it will conclude on July 16 at Aneheim Convention Center, in  Anaheim, California. On the other hand, the D23 Expo Japan would make a grand comeback on February 10-12, 2018 at the Tokyo Disney Resort. 

President of Walt Disney Asia and The Walt Disney Company (Japan) Paul Candland stated that the D23 Expo Japan 2018 brings a promise of something spectacular and incredible. The Walt Disney Company will mark its 95th anniversary in 2018. 

Candland did not go into specifics, but this has led to speculations that the next big announcement for "Kingdom Hearts 3" could likely happen at D23 Expo Japan in February next year. Square Enix had a sheer presence on the previous two occasions and also revealed the new trailer for the next title of the franchise in 2015, KH Insider noted.     

Thus, it is not a far-fetched idea that fans will again see a feature length trailer for "Kingdom Hearts 3" and get a big announcement of its release date at D23 Expo Japan But this could mean that the game will be launched in 2018.
