The internal code of iOS 10.3 has revealed that the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro would be arriving with a faster refresh rate.

The screens of the existing iPad's offer a refresh rate of 60Hz and thereby support for 60 frames per second. However, having higher refresh rates would allow the iPad to support VR games and better performance through Apple Pencil stylus.

The internal code of the latest developer edition of 10.3 iOS update that future iPads would be able to support faster frame rates than 60 fps. In 2016, Bloomberg had carried a report that stated the alleged 10.5-inch iPad Pro would coming with faster display rates.

The Apple Pencil is also expected to come with wider operating-system support that would make it possible to for users to annotate objects in Mail, Safari, iMessage and more. To provide optimized performance, Apple may offer faster display technology such as zooming, panning and scrolling.

Its evidence can be seen iOS.3 0 beta that suggests that the developers would be able to support multiple display modes such as 60 fps, 30 fps and default. It means that the default setting will not be 60 fps and 30 fps. Hence, the fresh rate would be higher than 60Hz Cult of Mac reported.

The 10.5-inch iPad Pro has been in the rumors since last summer,  9 to 5 Mac reported. The iPad was expected to hold a launch event to unveil several iPads in different screen sizes like 9.7 inches, 12.9 inches, 10.5 inches and 7.9 inches. However, the company did not hold a launch event and only introduced a 9.7-inch iPad (not an iPad Pro) through its official site.

The form factor of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro is expected to be as 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The new tablet is rumored to come without a physical Home button and sport a 10.5-inch screen along with slimmer bezels.
