Solar energy is spreading to different parts of the globe. Many countries are now more conscious of their environment and are turning to renewable energy.

Most countries are still using non-renewable sources of energy to power their industrial activities.  As a result of the constant combustion, harmful materials are released into the environment. In view of the given fact, more and more countries are trying to resolve the issue by gradually converting to renewable sources for their energy needs.

The energy coming from our sun is one of the primary sources of renewable energy today. The energy harnessed from sunlight is converted into electricity to power houses, office buildings, and even huge manufacturing plants.

The potential of solar energy to power a country has been accepted by various states and governments worldwide. In India for example, a solar boom is expected to occur as private companies, and the Indian government acknowledges the potential of the particular renewable energy source. The government plans to draw 40 percent of India's energy from renewable energy source by 2030, according to Business Insider.

Aside from the environmental benefits of renewable energy, it is considerably cheaper compared to the non-renewable energy. For that matter, large-scale solar power is spreading across the United States, according to Yale Environment 360.

In Australia, the move towards renewable energy is being supported by home and business owners, driving a solar energy boom.

More countries are likely to convert to renewable energy sources soon. Thus, making the planet Earth a cleaner and greener place to live in.
