Time travel has long been the fascination and dream of the humankind. However, recent reports suggest of a shred of evidence that time travel has long been achieved by unidentified beings.

A conspiracy theory has been presented online, detailing the potential evidence of traveling through time. In a video posted by a UFO and ancient aliens dedicated website, it claimed that the statues of ancient civilization depict of a handbag that modern women are using today.

"In Mesopotamia, the cradle of modern civilization, the symbol of the mysterious handbag is shown in countless stone carvings and statues, dating back as far as 10,000BC," Express quoted conspiracy theorist as saying.

Based on the argument of ancient alien believers and conspiracy theorist, a being from the future capable of traveling through time managed to introduce a modern handbag to the ancient world, as depicted by the statues from the time of Sumerian, Phoenician, Assyrian and the Etruscan civilizations. However, apart from the statues and the bold claim, there is no other evidence to support the theory.

Meanwhile, from a scientific perspective, traveling through time is indeed possible. Based on the General Theory of Relativity proposed by the brilliant mathematician Albert Einstein, the river of time could create a whirlpool and even fork into two rivers, making time travel possible as mentioned by Big Think.

Although the so-called simple time travel evidence offers a clear explanation on the subject matter, the question of how and why the handbag symbol became a world phenomenon remains in the background. Up to now, there is still no clear explanation of what it actually represents.

With the mystery left unsolved, more questions are being asked the common individuals. Are we really incapable of traveling through time, or is it just an ancient technology that present humans have forgotten?
