Nokia Phones Availability: Nokia 3310, Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 set for Wider Market Release in Mid-May

HMD Global has announced that the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and Nokia 3310 are scheduled for a wider market release in the second quarter of this year.

Despite the fact that the launch of the latest Nokia phones occurred weeks ago, customers are waiting for a wide release of the device. Asia was chosen as the testing ground of the device with China as the focal point of the Finnish brand. Thus, leaving other countries and regions deprived of the highly anticipated brand.

However, things may soon change as the Head of Marketing for Eastern Europe at HMD Global, Tomislav Himbel, recently announced that Nokia Android phones would be available on the market in the second half of Q2, according to Phone Arena. This news comes after pre-orders for the device commenced in major European countries.

This could mean that latest Nokia smartphones, like the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and the improved Nokia 3310 will be hit the shelves by mid-May of this year.

The Nokia 5 boasts of a 5.2-inch IPS HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Although not a high-end Android phone, the Nokia 5 sports Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU, according to BGR.

Moreover, future Nokia 3 users will enjoy a 5-inch IPS LCD HD display still with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The said device is powered by a MediaTek MTK6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Meanwhile, the newly improved Nokia 3310 features a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, and 16 GB internal storage. The main attraction of the device is its powerful battery that is said to last longer than its original model, with at least ten times more battery power.
