The Samsung Galaxy S8 might come in amethyst or purple color version. It was supposed to be unveiled in four color options, namely, black, blue, silver, and gray.

A leaked Milka-colored Samsung Galaxy S8 was posted by @kksneaksleaks on Twitter. It shows four photos of the upcoming device and is completely consistent with the previous leaks. Online store Submarino in Brazil recently posted a poll to determine the color preference of their customers with the options including purple, black, and silver.

South Korean mobile company Samsung has not released a purple color for its previous devices. It usually makes gold or pink color options at launch. The Galaxy Note 7 became popular with the coral blue color, which prompted the company to release the same version of the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will have a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a high resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, a pixel density of 569 pixels per inch, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection against scratches and drops. It will run on the Android 7 operating system with Adreno 540 graphics processing unit.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. It will come with 4GB of RAM and either 64 or 128GB of internal storage that can be further extended up to a maximum of 256GB using a microSD slot for both single and dual SIM models.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will sport a 12-megapixel autofocus camera at the back with LED flash and an aperture of f/1.7. It will be accompanied with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, which is capable of dual video calls. It will be packed with a non-removable 3000 mAh Lithium-Ion battery and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be officially introduced on March 29 and is scheduled to be released by the end of April alongside the Galaxy S8+.
