There are many things to consider when deciding to create a startup. You need to find good people to work for you, and you have to think of the ways on how to give satisfaction to your customers while spending a little money as possible.

Aside from that, you need to decide whether you will invest in your own IT infrastructure or opt for a cloud infrastructure instead. There are some benefits to developing your own hosting infrastructure, but choosing the cloud would benefit you more as a startup.

In cloud hosting, you are sharing space on a particular server and use the same resources as the other customers. You may have encountered terms like "shared hosting," "multitenancy," and "VPS" (virtual private server).

Cloud service providers will create a virtual version of your desktop, file, storage, operating system, server, or network on a shared server. In contrast with a private server, the resources and data are only limited to the specific space on the server, unlike in a shared server, where all clients or tenants on the server utilize the same space and resources.

Recently, Techworld reported that the American technology company Nvidia is looking for ways to attract startups that are working with machine learning tech. It aims to let these startups opt for their hardware over large cloud providers like AWS and Microsoft.

But how does cloud helps you in building a kickass business as a startup? First is the cost. When you want to build a network infrastructure from scratch, you need to know that it is expensive. Plus, you need to invest your time, skills, and money.

But with cloud hosting, you don't have to worry about the infrastructure since it is built-in and ready to use. You also don't have to pay for maintenance and upgrades on the equipment, since the payment is included in your contract, according to The Register.

Most cloud providers only pay for what they use. When you own servers, you can both build with the future in mind and expand or build what is necessary now and upgrade in the future.
