Nobel prize winning physicist Stephen Hawking has offered some crucial advice to humanity regarding the future of our survival. During a recent interview, he explained that our species is suffering from a series of deadly threats that can lead to another mass extinction similar to what happened to the dinosaurs. More specifically, he warned that technology could wipe out the human race if we rely on it too much.

Hawking indicated that these threats include global warming an climate change. Although there are myriad of technological advances today that can help humans improve their lives and survive such environmental threats, Hawking noted that this reliance on technology could eventually lead to the demise of the human species.

During an interview with UK's The Times, Hawking explained that the presence of human aggression was pivotal in developing civilizations for ultimate survival. He said this aggression is embedded into our genetic makeup due to Darwinian evolution.

However, with the emergence of advanced technologies at a very fast pace, this inherent aggression might lead to the destruction of the human race via nuclear or biological warfare. "We need to control our aggressive instinct with logic and reason," Stephen Hawking warned.

Despite these issues, the revered scientist said that there is still hope for survival if all human races work together. Hawking suggests that we need to be quick in identifying such threats and act immediately before they get out of control.

This also means that the human race will need a special form of world government to combat these threats. Hawking's radical idea of this "world government" was also met with skepticism by the physicist. He noted that this world government could certainly become a tyranny. However, he says that he is still optimistic that humans will rise above to meet these challenges.

This is not the first time that the scientific genius has warned humanity about man-made threats. He has also suggested that humans may only have a thousand years left on this Earth before finding and colonizing a new planet to live.
