Bethesda had confirmed earlier that the company has three big games in its pipeline and executive producer Todd Howard said two of them are larger than what it has ever done so far. This has then spurred speculations among fans that "Elder Scrolls 6" could be one of these big projects Howard was talking about.

The well-received fantasy RPG series is so popular that despite Howard debunked rumors of the game's development late last year, the clamor for the new title has never died down and the anticipation continues. So, while waiting for some official details from Bethesda, Game Rant explored four potential locations for the sixth game of the series.

Summerset Isles makes an interesting location to explore next in the game. It's a region composed of the Isle of Summerset, Auridon, Arteaeum and Eyevea. Each of the islands offers unique facets to gamers. The main island is where the city of Alinor lies with the monumental Crystal Tower to primary inhabitants of the islands.

Valenwood is also a potential setting for "Elder Scrolls 6". A home to the Bosmer, the region has thick forests and mangrove swamps that players could discover many of its hidden secrets and mysteries.

And there's Elsweyr, a cradle to the cat-like Khajiit. this setting mainly consists of perilous and dry lands but also has a rainforest and jungle in the southern part of the region. This offers fans an appreciation of beauty and great dynamics

Last possible choice is the Black Marsh, the home of the Argonians and the most unrelenting area in Tamriel. The place has impassable swamp and marshlands with a great number of islands found in the southern coast of Black Marsh.

"Elder Scrolls 6" is the rumored sequel to "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" that was released in 2011.
