Martin Dresler, the first author of the study from Radboud University Medical Center said that they saw a massive increase in the performance on memory tests after brain training exercises.

Memory masters or memory athletes are capable of recalling and reciting long lists of random dates, numbers, facts, and other information according to a report in EurekAlert. We may be awed by their super memory, but do you know that they are simply using memory palace or loci where they create an imaginary journey somewhere they are familiar with, like their home? This technique is tied to ancient Rome and Greece.

MSN suggests that memory athletes, even the world's most successful memory masters, are not born with these memory skills. Drasler pointed out that these memory masters are trained for months or even years and they are using mnemonic strategies to obtain the result.

Moreover, it was suggested that if people know how to apply these strategies, then they can be capable of obtaining high levels of performance without much training. But, there are still more to know about it in order to obtain the most want super memory. Besides, the human brain is very flexible.
