According to the GFXBench's database, the Samsung SM-G615F sports a 5.7-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution together with a 5 finger gesture support. This device features a 12-megapixel main shooter with autofocus, face detection, and HDR settings, also with a 12-megapixel front snapper with 1080p video recording capability.

The Samsung SM-G615F is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6764 SoC (Cortex A53 - ARMx8) clocked at 2.3 GHz paired with a dual-core ARM Mali-T880 MP2 graphics processing unit. The device comes out with 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB of internal storage. The Samsung SM-G615F runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung's patented UI out of the box. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi connectivity and all common sensors.

However, according to Geekbench, the Samsung SM-G615F is powered by an octa-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.69 Ghz contrary to GFXBench's listing.

It is expected that the device will sport the same looks as of the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro which was launched last year. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro (2016) sports a slightly smaller 5.5-inches HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 resolution. The device features a 13-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front snapper.

It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC and Adreno 306 graphics processing unit paired with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro (2016) runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and sits on a 3000 mAh battery.

No information regarding the price and release date of the Samsung SM-G615F or the Galaxy On7 Pro (2017) however, it is assumed that the device will be priced slightly different from the previous Galaxy On7 Pro's Rs. 9,990 (approximately $148.65).
