Tweaks, fixes and features galore

The first batch of updates will include the ability for players to listen to some tunes while cruising on a chocobo. There's also some general game fixes and tweaks such as increasing the level cap to 120.

For PS4 Pro owners, the update will vastly improve the game's fluidity by increasing the fps count to 60. As for future updates, this includes improving the notorious chapter 13 segment of the game.

Players were complaining about how slow and linear chapter 13 was so developers are hoping to address this. Game director Tabata teased that they will make Gladiolus a playable character in the infamously dragging chapter.

Virtual Reality and more in future "Final Fantasy XV" updates

Another interesting detail that was revealed is the ability for players to take the exotic Regalia vehicle off-road! The Regalia was originally designed to only go on-rails in a linear design.

The latest update sets the Regalia off those linear rails and onto the open field. However, there's no date specified as to when this update becomes available.

According to Gematsu, "Final Fantasy" is going to delve in the world of Virtual Reality soon. Director Tabata hinted that the VR development "is progressing" but not by much just yet.

"We haven't progressed to the point where we can say specifically say when it will be released.", Tabata added. The "Final Fantasy XV" game content will continue to expand with the upcoming "Gladiolus", "Prompto" and "Ignis" DLC's.
