'Fallout 4' Mod Features the Iron Giant From The Movie of the Same Name

Through a mod, the Iron Giant from the animated film of the same name seems to fit in "Fallout 4".  The titular hero of the animated classic from 1999, "The Iron Giant", is a scrap metal eating 50-foot-tall robot.

While hiding some serious secret firepower, he is also good-hearted.  This all seems to fit perfectly in "Fallout 4".  3D artist Matthew "Matt3D" Swanton created a mod to make it all happen.

According to gaming website PC Gamer, there are so many mods for "Fallout 4" that is has become difficult to keep track of all of the user-created content coming from the game's community.  It has almost become a necessity to create compilations of the best mods to guide fans on what to install.

One mod that may deserve to be included in the list of best mods is "The Iron Giant" of Swanton.  The mod of Swanton is available at NexusMods.  A more kind and gentle looking robot buddy like the Iron Giant from the film, replaces the game's Liberty Prime.

Players can now experience what it is like to see the large dangerous robot from the movie which included the voices of Jennifer Aniston and Vid Diesel.  The mod does not change the robot's personality in the game though.  It is still a murdering machine.

It does look like a murdering machine with a heart of gold though.  If it ever stops shooting at people, it would look like he could save people from catastrophe.

Although the Iron Giant in the mod is not as kind-hearted as in the film, it still does have dangerous firepower, just like in the film.  Gaming website Kotaku reports that the story behind the mod can be found at the ArtStation page of Matthew Stanton.

The creator of the mod says that the Iron Giant could appear in one of two scenarios.  It may appear during Airship Down with the Institute questline or it could appear during Liberty Reprimed with the Brotherhood questline, when returning to Boston Airport from The Bomb storage facility in "Fallout 4".
