More characters, action and eye-candy

Robin's character gameplay certainly highlighted the game's crisp-looking graphics. Apart from the gorgeous visuals, "Injustice 2" also displayed solid framerate and fluidity throughout the character showcase.

And Robin is just the tip of the iceberg, as there's already some intriguing heroes and villains that are coming to the sequel. According to GameSpot, fan-favorite heroes like Supergirl, Aquaman, Blue Beetle and Wonder Woman are already confirmed to appear.

On the other hand, super-villains such as Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd, Deadshot and Harley Quinn will make an appearance as well. Game director and "Mortal Kombat" mastermind Ed Boon assured fans that "Injustice 2" will have the largest character roster compared to previous NetherRealm games.

Boon also teased the possibility of including "popular" yet "obscure" characters in the game. The "Injustice 2" director also mentioned that these characters come from "Mortal Kombat X."

"Injustice 2" comics are also on the way

The upcoming fighting game isn't just limited to the videogame medium, it's coming to comics as well. A report from DenOfGeek confirmed that there will be an "Injustice 2" comic that connects the first game's plot to the sequel.

Titled "Injustice: Ground Zero", the upcoming comic tells the story where Bruce Wayne tries to bring back order which eventually leads up to "Injustice 2." The interesting part about it is that this story will be told through Harley Quinn's perspective.

"Injustice 2" comes to PS4 and Xbox One on May 16, the game will also have Android and iOS versions as well.
