Fans are becoming anxious while they wait for the iOS 10 jailbreak to be released by Pangu. It has been a while since Apple rolled out the iOS 10 and the update is already advancing to the iOS 10.0.2 version. However, there is still no genuine jailbreak tool for the iOS 10 available for download.

Chinese hacking group Pangu has hinted that an iOS 10 jailbreak tool would be released soon. In fact, Pangu announced that it will release a jailbreak tool in less than a month after a major update for the iOS is released. There are speculations that the delay was caused by Apple's frequent patches to update holes as important security updates are said to make the jailbreak malfunction.

Pangu may also be waiting for a more stable iOS before it releases any jailbreak. The group is still offering the iOS 9.3 firmware on its site, and it is currently the best jailbreaking tool for its ability to circumnavigate the Apple OS firmware. The iOS 10.2 is not compatible with the iPhone 7 and Pangu could be waiting for Apple to release the 10.2 to beat the iOS security patch.

Many have been anticipating the iOS 10.2 jailbreak for a long time now. The only jailbreak tool currently available is the Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak by Luca Todesco. The Yalu iOS 10 can free 64-bit devices which run on the iOS 10.0 to 10.1.1. However, it is still in the beta testing stage. It works on the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The iPhone SE with TMSC processors can now be modified, and iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s could be next as well.

Apple has released the iOS 10.2 beta 7 for developers and the general public. Jailbreaker Luca Todesco recently warned jailbreakers to avoid Apple's newest update. He asked users to use the iOS 10.1.1 because the firmware update will fix many bugs and may make the iOS 10 impossible to jailbreak.

According to Todesco, those who want to jailbreak their devices also have to save the SHSH2 blobs for iOS 10.2. This will allow the user to downgrade and upgrade the firmware via Prometheus. He said that Apple's operating system is still vulnerable to hacking and that he is working on the iOS 10.2 jailbreak to crack through the walled system.
