The Huawei Mate 9 smartphone is now available on third-party retailers.

The Huawei Mate 9 was launched by the Chinese mobile company Huawei at an event in Munich. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. A variant of the device with 6GB RAM with 128GB of built-in memory has been listed by several third-party retailers.

The 6GB RAM version of the Huawei Mate 9 has been listed on Amazon at $899 (around Rs. 61,200), GeekBuying at $819.99 (approximately Rs. 55,800), and TO2C at $764 (around Rs. 52,000).

The Huawei Mate 9 has a 5.9-inch full high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a pixel density of 373 ppi, and a screen-to-body ratio of 77.5%. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at a speed of 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores with a clocking speed of 1.8 GHz on board.

The Huawei Mate 9 runs on EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box with Mali-G71 MP8. It is packed with a 4000 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery with fast battery charging support and a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel that supports gestures.

The Huawei Mate 9 features a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and a 12-megapixel RGB (red-green-blue) sensor, both with f/2.2 apertures. It also comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the front with an aperture of f/1.9. It also supports second-generation Leica dual-lens camera, which was co-engineered with Leica.

The Huawei Mate 9 can be used as a single SIM (nano-SIM) or a dual SIM (nano-SIM, dual standby) smartphone. It is equipped with compass, accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.2, hotspot, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, infrared port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and USB Type-C port.
