Razer is once again making a big buzz in the gaming community following the launch of the company's Project Valerie, a mobile gaming laptop with three display that automatically spreads. With this new concept, Razer is raising the bar when it comes to mobile gaming.

At its heart, with the exception of the three display design, Project Valerie is essentially a Razer Blade. The laptop has the same GTX 1080 configuration, the same Razer-designed low profile mechanical switches, and the same Chorma lighting, according to PC World.

With the addition of two side panels, the laptop is considerably heavy and thick. Compared to the original Blade Pro, the Project Valerie machine is about 1.5-inches thick and weighs about 10 to 12 pounds. While Razer designed this for gaming on the go, the laptop's weight and thickness points contrary to this philosophy. The Razer Project Valerie could actually count as a legitimate desktop replacement gaming rig.

Project Valerie is an all-in-one machine. All three displays measure 17.3-inch and support 4K display with G-Sync, according to CNet. When closed, the two side display retract into an added slot behind the middle display. When deployed, the two side display automatically spreads and align correctly with the middle screen.

Razer is planning to release Project Valerie later this year. The company is yet to confirm the official price of the laptop or if there will be any additional specs to it once it is rolled out in the market. As a price point, the Razer Blade Pro starts at $3,700 with prices reaching as much as $4,500 for the most beefed up configuration. Some tech analysts have said that Project Valerie will most probably cost somewhere between $5,000 and $6,000 given that it has the same configuration with the Blade Pro and the two additional displays to stack up the cost.
